I know how I want my story to end. Physically, I'd like to become an ash painting. Psychologically, I want to be at peace with how I spent my time and the futures I've helped bring to life.
To me, the beauty of hospice and alternative death care lies in its ability to hold many different worlds at once. It's the kind of world I've spent more than a decade building, always moving beyond traditional boundaries: leading an economic think tank, researching and teaching computational social science at three universities, co-directing an international tech startup, running my own consulting and facilitation practice, building a cross-cultural data science community, steering a global open science MOOC, and helping organizations and public institutions navigate complex, cross-sector transformations. Alongside all that, I've guided people through deeply personal transitions as a death companion, systemic coach, and intercultural mentor.
Along the way, I earned a Master's degree in Politics and Public Administration from the University of Konstanz, completed executive education at Oxford Saïd, MIT Sloan, and Columbia Business School, and pursued advanced training in futures and systems thinking at Parsons and IDEO U. I also became a certified systemic coach, qualified mediator, and certified project manager.
None of that will make it onto my ash painting, though.
What might, metaphorically, is the integrative approach I've cultivated over the years: understanding the systems we're entangled in, sensing what new possibilities emerge as those systems decline, crafting strategies that adapt as conditions change, and co-creating with people rather than managing their resistance.
My story will likely end in ashes. The futures we build together don't have to.

Día de Muertos, the Day of the Dead, is a tradition that bridges the realms of life and death, inviting the spirits of the deceased to return and celebrate alongside the living.
It inspires us to reflect on the transitions in our own lives, acknowledging both the losses we have experienced and the new possibilities that emerge from each shift.

spaces in-between. explores the liminal spaces between the known and the unknown, the physical and the abstract. These spaces, filled with possibilities, invite us to reimagine how we experience transitions. What may initially appear as an empty void is now transformed into an embodied playground for creative exploration and discovery.
Transition In-Between
In a bustling city, there lived a man named Ebenezer Scrooge, a wealthy corporate tycoon whose heart was as cold as the screens he obsessively scrolled through.
He cared little for the plight of the poor or the state of the world, believing that profit and individual success were the only measures of a life well-lived.

Some featured projects still need a little more time to bloom. Keep an eye out.
As a death companion, I get to witness what truly matters in the end. As a systems thinker, I see how rarely our systems reflect those values. As a futures strategist, I explore the many possibilities we could choose instead. And as a systemic coach, I understand why we often don't—and how to move forward anyway.
That's the lens I bring to every collaboration: looking beneath the surface, questioning what we take for granted, and creating space for new possibilities. How that comes to life depends on what you're trying to make possible.
Advisory & Thought Partnership
You bring a problem that keeps resurfacing. I get to the heart of what's really going on, uncovering the patterns, structures, worldviews, and narratives sustaining it, so we can address root causes rather than treat symptoms.
Fractional & Interim Leadership
You bring the courage to co-create what’s next. I lead through transitions, helping you move beyond managing change toward creating the conditions for meaningful futures to emerge.
Systemic Coaching & Mentoring
You bring the curiosity to think differently about what's possible. I create space for the conversations that matter, challenging assumptions, shifting perspectives, and opening up new ways forward.
Workshops, Training & Speaking
You bring your questions. I connect research and storytelling, translating complex realities into learning experiences that invite reflection and make desirable futures feel tangible.
Joint Projects & Partnerships
You see the boundaries. I bring a way across them, contributing my expertise spanning systems, futures, strategy, and human dynamics to projects and longer-term collaborations built around a shared vision of the future.
If this resonates, let's talk about how we could move forward, together.
